As a 22 year career public servant in environmental monitoring + waist deep volunteering in Iowa’s rivers to clean them up, I recognize the urgency to recover and steward our natural resources 

The recent global pandemic has impacted small business, access to equitable healthcare, quality education, and workers’ rights to a living wage. Our community came to grips with the true value of the connection between community, labor and commerce; we all depend on each other. I want to prepare for future challenges like climate change, and forge a resilient community where all are seen, heard and proud to call home.
